Try to wake up early and walk in the ghats or take a boat ride. It's too hot during the day, hence take rest in a cool place during the day and go out again at evening. Walk at Godhulia. explore places in Bengoli Tola. Dine in at the restaurants at the riverside. Travel. Enjoy your life.

Shri Kashi Vishwanath Mandir was the reason we went to Varanasi but we discovered more & more with each passing day. More Mandir, more stories and more discoveries.
The city never ceases to surprise you. Narrow streets, zillion shops, food all around and so many faces, you just cant stop getting overwhelmed. This city cant be absorbed in a single lifetime.
A must visit once in a life.
But yes, be prepared for CRAZY traffic because of Locals + Tourists.

If you’re planning a trip to India, one destination that...
If you’re planning a trip to India, one destination that absolutely must be on your itinerary is Varanasi. As the oldest inhabited city in the world and a sacred place for Hindus, Varanasi offers a profound experience that bridges the gap between past and present. The city’s timeless ambiance immerses you in history while maintaining a vibrant connection to contemporary life. Its bustling streets, teeming with people and infused with chaotic energy, add an undeniable charm to this enigmatic city.
Varanasi is a treasure trove of culture and tradition, offering visitors a deeper understanding of Indian faiths, religions, and society. From the mesmerizing Ganga Aarti ceremonies on the ghats to the labyrinthine lanes of the old city, every corner of Varanasi tells a story of spiritual significance and cultural richness. Exploring its ancient temples, engaging with local rituals, and witnessing the ebb and flow of life along the sacred Ganges River are experiences that will stay with you long after you’ve left.
Moreover, Varanasi’s culinary scene is a delight for food enthusiasts, offering a diverse array of flavors and delicacies that tantalize the taste buds. Whether savoring mouthwatering street food or indulging in traditional Banarasi cuisine, every meal in Varanasi is a culinary adventure.
In essence, a visit to Varanasi is not just a journey through space, but also through time and spirituality. It’s an immersion into the essence of India, where ancient traditions coexist harmoniously with modern realities, leaving an indelible mark on the soul of every traveler.

Varanasi is a pilgrimage city, heritage city with a history...
Varanasi is a pilgrimage city, heritage city with a history of 3000 years. It has a very special appeal and charms to Indians and for foreigners willing to explore India. For me it was a memory revisited after more than 50 years. Varanasi is a place to experience spiritual -the temples, Ganga Aarati, evening cruise - to happy indulgences - famous eateries of so many varieties, shops for souvenirs, Varanasi sarees and everything else, all within a small place.
However, the surging and unmanageable crowd coupled with absolutely chaotic and undisciplined traffic that do not allow even a bit of personal space bore one down very soon.
Well, still it's an experience to enjoy it to the full.

Standard rooms space are very uncomfortable and unable to adjust for longer period of time . It can be more spacious as per price of the room . Also other facilities like internet , service were not at par excellence.
I was booked the hotel Rivera palace first time my experience was very good 👍👍
All staff was very helpful food was very tasty and fresh.Hotel provide me cab for local sightseeing and evening boating and everything good.Hotel plus point that hotel near the ganga ghat only 100 metres from the hotel. If you searching best hotel in Varanasi the you should to book hotel Rivera palace and enjoy your journal.Room was very good and washroom was also clean.Hot water, tea cattle, toiletries, power backup, elevator.
Great location- right on a quite ghat :) every time we walked back to the hotel we got a lovely fresh breeze. My husband enjoyed watching the ghats and boats go by from the roof. Also the property was nice and clean. We had hot water at all hours.
Staff was amazing :) so sweet and thoughtful. They made it an exceptional stay.
And finally, it was the best hotel breakfast we have had in all of India! Food is very fresh and tasty :)
Location of the hotel is easily accesible for tuktuks and taxis. Dont have to worry about dragging your luggage through the narrow streets of varanasi. Close and easy access to the ghats. Close to good local restaurants and cafes in the assi ghat area which is quite lively at night. Hot water in bathroom works well. The staff working there tries their best to be helpful.
I belong from Brazil and come to Indian second time for exploring places of Varanasi. The places of Varanasi is too excellent with more places we are exploring like , manikarnika ghat we took a pics , either than in a part of hotel the hotel is provide the good service and with great rooms , the hotel value our nation person. So I gland to see Indian .
The Brijrama Palace is simply beautiful and in the best location in Varanasi. The staff is friendly, welcoming, and always there to help you with any request. The breakfast and lunch at the hotel were excellent. We also enjoyed very much the music and dance performances they have at the hotel throughout the day.
The overall customer service is excellent but the front desk and restaurant was consistently on top of their service delivery. The breakfast was good and given enough to choose from, at least some options was there for non-Indians. The overall hotel cleanliness is moderate given it is undergoing construction.
The styling and the personel let it feel like a house, a lot of people living there., not like a Hotel. So, guest house is the right description.
I can recommend the JYOTITOURS INDIA and Ms Jwota, who where also a part of the hotel and offered a awesome walking tour through Varanasi.
