The views were amazing, the pool was gorgeous. Hotel breakfast is worth it. Hotel staff were very helpful. They arranged for a driver to pick us up from the airport and drop us off. They helped us with all our needs & questions. Location is fantastic (yes there are a lot of stairs) but you can walk almost anywhere. Fantastic restaurants. One word of advice ask the hotel manager questions they will help out and make suggestions.

Platis Yialos is a very nice beach. There is a charge for the use of the sunbeds which is quite expensive. There is a good beach bar called Yialo Yialo. They serve good food and the staff are very nice in there.
Do not go to the DK Oyster bar, this is the bar with the black umbrella's outside on the beach. They have a terrible reputation for ripping people off, sometimes for 100's of Euros. This happened to me a number of years ago and happened to another resident in our hotel this year. She was charged 500 Euros for not very many drinks and something to eat!

The beach is well organised, with many restaurant options. There’s a 5 stars hotel, with a beach bar called Branco, which was really good.
I’d say that 85% of the beach is covered by the sun beds for rental. The remaining part is public, so people can lay down on the sand on their own towels.
The water is beautiful, clean, and transparent. However, a bit cold in October.

The place is conveniently located if one wants to go to the beach or to visit the city of Mykonos where all the buzz is. One can use the bus or rent car, scooter or ATV. Mykonos is expensive, so be prepared to pay 36 Euro for a 3km Uber drive.

I would like to recommend Myconian Ambassador hotel in Mykonos-We stayed 5 nights and enjoyed very much: Great service and team, very good breakfast and wonderful views and pool. The location is best on the island for us-close to most beautiful sea in Mykonos and to the path To other beaches.
8 minutes by ATV to Mykonos town.
This is a real 5 star hotel!we stayed in the main building And it was close to common areas and a great room.
I Definitely will come back to Ambassador hotel. 🌸 Simona Green
The property and staff are both excellent, and for Mykonos you definitely get value for money here. 3 beautiful pools that are kept spotless, a lovely pool bar and breakfast area that has a good selection. Location is great as it is 5/10 mins to psarou and platis yialos beaches, and 10 mins drive into the town. The hotels taxi/transfer service was great and made it simple to organise lifts. All the staff were very helpful and George is the man for tips of what to do and how not to get ripped off - easy in Mykonos!
Perfect little cozy hotel, near Platis Gialos beach (2 min walk down, and slighly more back since it is uphill). The view from our room was wonderful, towards the hill covered in Myconian white houses. The bus stop is right in front of the hotel, although buses are not very accurate and reliable. The young receptionist (I think his name is Anthonis) is extremely kind, he made our stay even more pleasant. The room cleaning is fair, on daily basis. The hotel is clean overall and pays attention to Covid measures.
Everything was perfect! The pool, room and other areas were beautiful, the breakfast was incredible and the staff were so friendly and went out of their way to make you feel welcome. Amazing service from Thanos and the whole team! We loved the more peaceful vibe that came from being a little bit outside the centre of Mykonos, but you can still get into town easily via taxi. There are also lovely restaurants and a beautiful beach in easy walking distance of the hotel. By far the best place I've ever stayed!
The hotel is right on the beach, sun beds are included and so is the breakfast which was delicious, always fresh and with great variety of pastries, fruits, vegtables, deserts, freshly squeezed orange juice. Having included breakfast saves you a lot, as Mykonos is not cheap.
Staff is very friendly and helpful, always smiling and being available. We enjoyed talking to Emilia who is in charge of the yummy breakfast and Fotis who is in charge of the bar, and makes some great coffees and cocktails.
I enjoyed the vibe of the property. When you walk in, it has some pretty flowers along with some mirrors that give the hotel a fun a cute vibe. The pool area has a bar that plays music that gives the pool area a relaxing feel. The staff was very friendly, and the owner provided some excellent tips for our stay.
The property is also located near a fabulous restaurant (Nikos Gallop), a convenient store, bus stop, and within walking distance to the boat taxi and a couple of beach clubs too!
this hotel was worth the money! The pool area is beautiful with the infinity pool/great view. The owners were friendly, helpful, arranged a free transfer to the port for us, and recommended great restaurants nearby. The hotel is close to everything - within walking distance to Platis Gialos beach and close to a scenic path to Paraga Beach/Scorpios. The bartender made great drinks and all the food they serve is organic, local and grown on the property - it was all so good!
The location of the hotel was the bast you can wish. The beach is in reach by a nice walk and Mykonos town just a few minutes by car. It is calm with a fantastic view but you won't miss out the bussy nightlife either. The rooms are cleaned regurarly. Quality breakfast included. If you want to have lunch or dinner you can have it for a fair price.
Pools and the whole area of the hotel is clean and organised. You can realy feel the hospitality of the people here.
We didnt just like everything we LOVED everything ! We stay at Petasos every time we visit Mykonos - the rooms are spacious, clean and with beautiful views ! The breakfast is the best ! Everything is offered and the staff are so friendly and helpful. The location is perfect. You can go to the beach, or the pool or walk around the little village now outside the hotel. Every time we visit , we dont want to leave !Thanks Petasos for the best stay ever ! :)
I rarely praise an accommodation, but this one really deserves it!
It deserves 10+ in every aspect. Super location, incredible panorama overlooking the golf. 5 min walk to the beach.
Super clean, very authentic and so confortable.
The owner? Vasilikis is a golden man! He's been extremely helpful and attentive towards all of our needs and requests.
Would I pick this villa again? I wouldn't even think about going anywhere else while in Mykonos.
it is in a good location between town and plati gialos. it is not on the beach or anywhere near the beach… about 1 mile. recommend renting a car to get around island. the shutters were very good, total blackout. refrigerator in room and boiling water pot for coffee… we were able to have some food, wine and coffee in room which is a big help in mykonos :). the mattresses, pillows and bedding were good hotel quality… comfortable sleep
Great location! Bus to Mykonos town is really cheap and runs regularly. There’s a nice atmosphere to the strip of hotels and it’s lovely and chilled.
Breakfast was also excellent- loads of choice.
We were upgraded to a beach front room-amazing!
Eva at reception was so kind to us after a mishap with our ferry over.
All the staff were so friendly and attentive.
Would definitely recommend.
Lovely hotel in nice surroundings. The hotel was situated in a lovely part of mykonos with a great beach close by and a good bus service that takes you into mykonos town for less than 2 euros
The hotel was incredibly clean and all staff helpful and friendly!
The bed was so comfortable, the best sleep I have had in a hotel EVER!
The breakfast was lovely each day
Perfect location, walking distance to beaches and a right by a bus stop that takes you straight into Mykonos town. thoroughly enjoyed our stay, breakfast in the morning was lovely and overlooking the beach. We came here for our 30th and had the best time, would definitely come back again.
Location was amazing with an ocean view and at walking distance to different beaches, to a bakery, restaurants and bars, and to the bus stop to reach Mykonos town. The hotel also had a swimming pool … luxurious for a very affordable rate.
Staff was incredibly friendly and attentive all around. Ocean front views, not in the busy part of Mykonos town so more quiet at night. Several beaches in walking distance. Wonderful breakfast with amazing staff attention and service
Really kind and helpful people working in the staff
The whole area of the hotel is beautiful - don't miss the swimming pool, an amazing big bedroom, really nice breakfast, well located near the Platis Gialos beach.
close the beach - which was stunning -
breakfast was excellent and felt so personal and the staff were wonderful. Mykonos is known for "partying" but this felt like a family location and hotel.
