Warm welcome. Clean comfortable rooms. Quiet. Access to large lounge area. Within walking distance of the race course (and a very lovely country pub!). Decent parking, WiFi. Convenience store at the end of the road. Would not hesitate to recommend.

A little worn-out but well complemented by the boutique charm and the fine small touches. The bed was very comfortable. Choices of soft and firm pillows. The coffee in the room was surprisingly good! The staff were wonderful and breakfast was huge.

We also ate at Fego on Ascot High Street. On a Sunday morning there was a long queue outside - and no wonder. The food and tea/coffee were excellent and the staff friendly and quick. Thoroughly recommend it.

I went there for family reasons and Ascot is a small town whose main feature is the horse race track which leaves me cold! Its expensive to get to Ascot from the airport (60 GBP by taxi) or around half that by Underground & surface Train but can be fun! For the kid in you there's LegoLand close by and for the history buffs there's Windsor which is beautiful and the castle is magnificent and definitely worth a visit. The shopping isn't too bad either.

We stayed for one night as a birthday treat at the Macdonald Berystede and thoroughly enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere. We had dinner in the restaurant and although a reduced menu the choice was fabulous and cooked to perfection. The Breakfast buffet was all cooked well and hot, the eggs were of a great standard. The spa facilities were great and not too crowded, I had a great swim and the hydro pool was a great experience with the really warm water and the rain pouring what a treat.
I attended the races at Ascot. The racecourse was jus a 20 mins walk or short cab ride away, 1.5miles.
I arrived at 10am for a day in an Ascot hospitality box. my room was ready on arrival.
There was just one lady on site, cleaning and checking in. The room was clean and comfortable, albeit the whole hotel is in need of some TLC.
After a day racing and drinking, a short walk to the hotel was the easy option as getting a cab would have not been easy,
Free parking on site.
We have booked this property because it was 5min walk away from the Lapland UK that we were visiting. So for us the location was the key, and it was absolutely ideal.
Our room was quite small but clean and had all we needed for a one night stay. Bathroom was clean and had lovely shower.
Food in the hotel was very good. Nice choice on the menu. We had early dinner in the bar area on the day of arrival and lovely breakfast in the restaurant part next morning.
The room was very clean, smart and airy. There was a kettle, microwave and fridge in the room which made self-catering a ready meal very easy. The location is very quiet. There is a good, powerful shower. Email communication and entry instructions were excellent. Entry to the flat is self-service (no host) and worked well. It is convenient for Ascot racecourse (about a mile away). There was no breakfast provided so I can't comment.
The main reason for staying at The Haven was to attend Ascot Racecourse. As soon as our host, Gill, knew this she offered to drive us there. This ‘lift’ even included a quick tour of the local shops and pubs, and the best suggested walking route to return to The Haven later. We loved the accommodation. It has been very carefully thought out and provided us with everything that may be needed.
Everything & everyone was excellent! The hotel was awesome, the food was fresh & unique. Tracy at the front desk was so welcoming & Sophia in the restaurant was so friendly & gave us helpful advise about traveling through Heathrow. They both should never underestimate the power of their kindness to strangers!
General vibe of the hotel and bar area, we attended an event at Cowarth Park in the evening so came back after and had a drink in the lounge. Staff were accommodating and didn’t kick us out when it got late
Very comfortable room, hotel very clean. Excellent breakfast. Staff all very friendly and helpful. This is a great location, ideal if you are visiting Ascot races which is a £10 taxi ride away.
I was there celebrating with 60 others from out of town. The hotel and staff went out of their way to make it as enjoyable as possible while we spent our 4 days together. Outstanding.
The whole experience of staying at the Berystede Hotel was excellent. The staff were very welcoming in all areas. It is a lovely location and we would definitely stay there again.
I loved how peaceful it was yet close to various locations. I wanted to experience the English countryside and I did here; yet it was easy to get to London by train.
