My wife and I had a lovely birthday celebration at the Outbuildings. The Coop room was lovely for us and our dog, and the outdoor bath was exceptionally relaxing after a day walking the beach. I also organised the Orchard experience with the hotel, which was great and the food was delicious. The hotel also catered to our food allergies which we were very grateful for. Overall a peaceful and restorative stay, we would love to return.

Design, build and finish of the hut is supurb with some really nice and clever features. Although close to the farm, it's not overlooked which is handy if using the hot tub... which we did almost immediately after arrival and spent hours sat in it drinking champagne whilst star gazing. The hut is lovely and warm and there's also a log burner with wood ready to use if you're visiting during the colder months of the year.

There is so much to do in Bridport.
There is so much to do in Bridport. There are many pubs and restaurants and events. There is even a street market twice a week and a good variety of shops. Everything is within walking distance or you can take a bus. The beach is less than 2 miles away. Lots of hotels. Many charity shops. Very safe and friendly with narrow streets and oldie worldly charm and architecture. Good night life with theatre and music events to attract all ages. Good surrounding countryside for walks and pub meals. There is even a guided walk round the brewery.

There are so many places of interest both in and around Bridport. In the town itself there are plenty of places to both eat and drink. The buses take you to most of the surrounding places both big and small. But there are also very reasonable taxi services. Walking around Bridport is a joy as there are so many things to see and it has an interesting history. I can't think of any places I'd avoid.

Our stay was in West Bay just over a mile from Bridport. West Bay offers several choices of restaurant each offering local sea food. With its picturesque harbour there is plenty to see and do. From deep sea fishing trips to catching crabs or small fish around the harbour and pier. The cliff walks are spectacular as are the walks along the coastal paths. There are swimming pools in and around West Bay along with squash, badminton, tennis and table tennis facilities.

Great choice of pubs and restaurants in town, any staff I encountered were excellent. There’s a cinema, museum and plenty of independent shops for wet days. Decent bus service too to other places including Weymouth, Dorchester, Lyme Regis and Axminster.

Bridport is a nice little town with friendly people.
Bridport is a nice little town with friendly people. We like micro-brewery beer and there is a nice brewery in Bridport that gives great tours. We really wanted to visit West Bay and that was close and very nice. The whole area is very scenic.
We had the room with the ensuite and kitchenette and it fit our needs for the stay. Very comfortable and it was great to have the space to relax, especially as we had been travelling and staying in much smaller rooms prior. Friendly owners who gave us a good head's up about parking along the street. Didn't have an issue with parking, although it did get crowded, and the road is a bit steep (we walked up it only once during our stay), but there are quite a number of steep hills around Bridport so isn't out of the ordinary.
This is a charming hotel that has been in operation in some form for centuries. It feels like an old carriage house with creaky stairs and some lower ceilings, but has a lovely dining room and pretty rooms. We had two: one in the main house and one in an outbuilding. Both were nicely decorated and comfortable with the suite in the garden being extra special. Dinner was delicious as was breakfast and the staff was adorable. We also enjoyed a street market in Bridport and found it a perfect place to access the Jurassic Coast.
The location of Sunset View was as expected and suited me admirably. Peace and quiet with a view. Within walking distance of West Bay harbour and beach, either by the footpath across the field or via the road/pavement. The local shop is an asset. Twixt Bridport and West Bay, both offering a variety of different amenities- what's not to like. It was good to have local maps and a small selection of books in the chalet also.
Almost central location, easy 5 minute walk of central Bridport. Incredible peace and quiet for such a central location, sometimes, just birds tweeting and nothing else. Great feel to this cottage, wonderful tasteful decor with period touches, one eye to the current, and a nod to the past. Would have loved to be there on colder days with a log burner providing additional ambience- maybe another day. I would return.
Breakfast was superb and the set price 3-course dinner, which changed every day, was high quality and good value. We had planned to dine out 50% of the time but we dined in the hotel restaurant every evening. We thought the hotel had done a very good job in managing the Covid-19 restrictions. We also appreciated the hotel's ethos in sourcing whatever they could locally.
We love the Bull Hotel in Bridport stylish but as also really cosy. The staff are fabulous, nothing was too much trouble. My husband had been very ill and we were upgraded to a beautiful room which was a lovely suprise. Delicious food in the restaurant and very well priced. All in all you will not be disappointed.
Breakfast not on offer
Location was perfect( Top of a hill with views and free parking in Cul de sac)
Short walk into town of Bridport ( if you are able and can avoid parking fees ) with a Street Market Wed and Sat. Also many shops for All your needs
15 minute drive into lovely West Bay which is a must
Old fashioned hotel, but lovely. Ideal position in Bridport. Great views. Large room, comfy beds, great linen. Jacuzzi bath with shower over, tv to watch in bath. Big tv in room too. Fabulous breakfast and evening meal. Staff all friendly warm and welcoming. Really enjoyed our stay - thank you.
All food was excellent and well presented. Staff were very friendly but just needed a little more training to sharpen up attention to detail. Plenty of parking. The music in restaurant was perfect and at a non-distracting volume. Requests were promptly acted on. The hotel was peaceful.
Excellent location in the centre of Bridport and very easy to find. Good sized living space and bedrooms. Lots of local information provided and the small library on the second floor landing was great. Loved the 'little touches' around the apartment.
A comfortable, spacious cottage with help at hand from the owners next door, if you need it. Great dog friendly place within easy reach of the fabulous West Dorset coast and villages. We were made to feel very welcome and enjoyed the peace and quiet.
Great location, close to New Bay and Bridport. Comfortable, traditional B&B hotel. The owner was very polite and friendly, advised what to see in the area. We spent a very pleasant and relaxing time. Good British Breakfast :)
Brilliant Location opposite a stunning beach with super cafe, 10 mins to West Bay / another few minutes to Bridport.
Also visited The Acorn Inn at Evershott for a lovely lunch.
Everything. Lovely classy hotel close to all Bridport town centre shops, bars and restaurants. Breakfast was great, friendly helpful owners and staff. Would highly recommend.
Super little hotel in a really great location. Comfy bedrooms and super bathrooms. Excellent dinner in restaurant and very tasty breakfast. Would definitely stay here again.
Private access, comprehensive instructions on arrival. Clean, tidy and had everything we needed for our stay. Easy to get to and a lovely part of Bridport.
