Set in a 15th-century building in the San Frediano district of Florence, Casa per Ferie Santo Nome di Gesú offers simple rooms, a few steps from Brancacci Chapel. Everything was perfect, service, room, breakfast, cleanliness and location. The building is old but charming and there were plugs all around the room. Beds were comfy and the gardin was very beautiful.

Located in Florence, 1.1 km from Strozzi Palace and 1 km from the centre, Affittacamere Il Chiostrino Guest House provides air-conditioned accommodation with free WiFi, and a terrace. I booked this guest house for my son who was travelling alone. He said the location was the best he’d had on his Europe travels, the bed was very comfy and loved that it even had Netflix. It was such an easy walk to everything, he didn’t have to get a single bus, train or taxi during his stay. And it was in an historic area not far down the road from the Arno river with its famous bridges. The host, Marco, is a legend, and went over and above in his communication to ensure my son had a good stay and got in and out ok, and recommending great places to eat and visit. Highly recommended.

Location was excellent, in a quieter location but still close to the main sites around town, great cafe around the corner for breakfast and plenty of bars and restaurants within 2 blocks for dinner.
