I'm loved the fixtures and different sections where you can worship. What a beautiful place to worship the lord. Awesome structure so sad it was burned. Glad I had the opportunity to experience it before it was destroyed.

We visit Notre Dame every visit.
We visit Notre Dame every visit. Last visit we were able to sit and enjoy a mass. Another time, we heard an organ recital. The peace and tranquility of the place can not be matched. We pray that it is rebuild soon!

I have mixed feelings about this historic Cathedral.
I have mixed feelings about this historic Cathedral. Sadness that the towers have been lost due to fire but it still stands proud and you can still see the beautiful windows and original structure of Notre Dame. I suppose it is a miracle that there was not more damage. I feel it is an integral monument in Paris to visit. I pray that Notre Dame will be around for all future generations to enjoy.

I was sad to see Notre-Dame after the fire.
I was sad to see Notre-Dame after the fire. I used to go to Notre Dame for mass and devotions. Not being able to do so was quite a letdown for me. Let's hope that I will be able to do so again in my lifetime!

All we can say about this is that we are so glad we saw it before it burned. The 13 year old was excited more after the fact knowing that he saw it before they had to rebuild again. Beautiful place.

At the moment it is not possible to get as close to this important icon of both Paris and Christianity but it is still-and perhaps even more do - a pilgrimage that must be undertaken if one finds one’s self in the city.

It's in a really good central location, easy to access the Metro. I walked to the Pompidou Centre and Notre Dame my first evening. Our apartment was in the middle of the complex, and beautifully quiet. The room itself , although small, was charming, full of wooden beams and very tastefully decorated. We had all we needed for self catering, a useful asset in expensive Paris!
The staff were all a pleasure with which to work. We loved the location because it was kitty corner to a metro station, 3 good cafes with 50 yards and another couple within 400 yards. Hôtel has a nice breakfast option. Walk to the Louvre and to Notre Dame were just under a mile. The beautiful Luxembourg Palace is a 10 minute walk. Very nice place, not luxurious, but very nice. We thought it was a great value when comparing to other properties. We’ve been to Paris several times.
good location (the area was super quiet). around the hotel you can find restaurants, notre dame, odette, shakespeare bookstore/cafe is nearby. will surely stay here again.
The location is excellent, right by many restaurants and only a few streets away from Notre Dame and the Louvre. The apartment is small and simple, good for two people. The bedding and towels were clean, as was the rest of the apartment. The directions for getting the keys were very clear and we had no problems getting in. The Wi-Fi and the TV worked well.
This hotel was the perfect location for me within a few yards of the Metro, if you blocks from Notre Dame and Isle de la Citė, and all of the benefits of life on the Left Bank.
OMG - best hotel I've stayed at in Paris, and I travel to Paris a lot. The views to the Notre Dame from the room, the neighborhood of great places to eat and drink and sit, the access to the Metro, the staff's willingness to help navigate! Breakfast was offered for a small charge of 10 Euros - it was a typical French Breakfast with croissants and other pastries - well worth the cost!! But if you are looking for a warm, American breakfast - you'll need to head to a restaurant nearby.
Great location in the Latin Quarter near Notre Dame. There are several very good restaurants, bakeries and stores in the area. The elevator functioned well. The apartment had the basic amenities.
Very, very good location!!! Very, very close to Notre Dame. A lot of places to have something to eat and drink around the hotel.
Very nice and kind staff, very helpful with all advices you need. Elevator available.
Nice room, very clean. Confortable beds and pilows.
The apartment was very clean and modern. Très agréable! I would stay here again without question! Very very convenient. There are many cafes, restaurants, bars and shops nearby. Notre Dame, La Tour Eiffel, Place Vendôme, Place de la Concorde, L'Arc de Triomphe, Galleries Lafayette, Le Primtemps, everything is a short metro ride from this apartment (Paris is big) and there are many places within walking distance. It's very well located. Very quiet, very secure.
We enjoyed our stay at Appartement Notre Dame and were impressed with how quiet it was for sleeping. Having the blackout shades in the bedroom was a real plus. Other reviews describe the apartment nicely and we found it quite large for a Paris flat. We followed a tip that a friend gave us. Don't use the Metro to get around, use the bus because you can see more and that is very true. We would highly recommend this place, especially to first-time visitors to Paris who can take advantage of all that the owner has to offer.

We found that the most crowded places were the Notre Dame church and the Champs-Elysees (specially on the blocks nearest the Arc)
Keep in mind this is Paris, crowds are a necessary evil. However, some spots are worse than others. We found that the most crowded places were the Notre Dame church and the Champs-Elysees (specially on the blocks nearest the Arc). For us, the jewel of the city is without doubt the Eiffel Tower, and luckily its gardens are so wide that the crowds end up spreading enough so that everyone has enough space, even for picnics (going up the tower is an entirely different matter, though!). Also, strolling the streets and parks can be less crowded, you just have to avoid the main streets near the main landmarks. Try the Luxembourg Garden or the Saint-Germain-des-Pres neighborhood.
