A bar, lounge and bakery are available. the hotel facilities were great , the room was huge ; there is free shutteles from the hotel to the train station

Walking distance to the train and an amazing Open Air Museum. We'd be lucky enough to stay again!

The nearest airport is Oshima Airport, 87 km from the ryokan. I got lucky with the room because I had a vending machine with beer right next to my door. The location is good, not far from bus/train stations, but it might be a bit inconvenient if you have suitcases since the road from the stations is quite busy and doesn’t have pedestrian area. For me it wasn’t an issue since I had only a backpack. The room was spacious and clean, the staff were super friendly. Amazing outdoor onsen. Overall, I enjoyed my stay.

And the whole atmosphere of the place is very nice, feels traditional and authentic.
