Located a 15-minute walk from Santa Maria Novella Train Station, Horto Convento offers rooms with free WiFi in Florence. Guests can enjoy a garden and an on-site bar. Extremely clean and quiet oasis a little off the beaten path, but worth the few extra steps. I booked the small double and it was still a very good size. Excellent shower. And excellent breakfast with hot and cold food as well as fresh pastries. Only about five or so minute walk to Santo Spirito and 10-15 to train station.

Set in a 15th-century building in the San Frediano district of Florence, Casa per Ferie Santo Nome di Gesú offers simple rooms, a few steps from Brancacci Chapel. The location was good. The room was big and clean. The breakfast was tasty and the staff were lovely. The building is also full of history and has a lovely garden.

Hotel Relais Il Cestello is located in Piazza del Cestello, next to the Cestello Church, and enjoys unforgettable views of River Arno. Rooms have wooden furniture and free Wi-Fi. The hotel is very well situated in a local neighborhood area, but still close to the city center by aprox 13 min walking. The bus stop to Siena - Piazza Tasso is at 9 mins walk. The room was spacious and clean. I checked out and could store my luggage for a couple of hours. The staff and owner were very kind and attentive. If I come back to Florence, I will stay again here. It was a extraordinary stay.

Very friendly and helpful. Fabulous bathroom. Lovely old building with 16+ foot ceilings and frescoed ceiling. On bus line. Taxis actually responded unlike in Rome

Located in Florence, 1.1 km from Strozzi Palace and 1 km from the centre, Affittacamere Il Chiostrino Guest House provides air-conditioned accommodation with free WiFi, and a terrace. It is close to the center but also has a lot of good restaurants nearby. The apartment is very nice and modern and has everything you need for a few days. The host, Marco, gave me a lot of recommendations regarding restaurants and a good pasticceria for breakfast.

Situated in the centre of Florence, DRAGO d' ORO SUITES features accommodation with free WiFi in a historic building. The air-conditioned accommodation is less than 1 km from Strozzi Palace. The apartment was very clean and spacious, well furnished and with modern appliances. Isabella, our host met us at the apartment to give us the keys and show us around the apartment. The location is ideal,situated in an older neighborhood with all the amenities, grocery store, butcher, baker/ patisserie,fruit and vegetable store, all within a five minute walk. There are many good restaurants within a 10 or 15 minute walk including a Michelin starred directly below the apartment. All of the major sites of Florence are within a 30 minute walk. We very much enjoyed our stay and highly recommend it.

Situated in the centre of Florence, 600 metres from Strozzi Palace and 700 metres from Santa Maria Novella, Renovated Central Suites offers free WiFi and air conditioning. The location was perfect! Close to both 2 sides of Florence. Outside was just a delicious gelato store! The Host Paola, is the kindest most considerate host. If we go back to Florence, I’d book her property again no questions asked! The house was just right for me and my husband and she had complete everything. It really felt like home away from home.
